@adam78624699 @weloveyouwilly You know what I'll go easy on you and not post original series, just sequels/spinoffs/AUs to legacy series from the mid to early 20th century, all within a single genre, like what you posted.
@0wlflame Also that one scene in Macross Plus was raw as hell
@TolarianCollege @netflix I shall again remind everyone that there's an official magic the gathering manga that doesn't have an official English language translation. Oh yeah and each volume comes with a promo card.
@Zakvvv666 You should try Getter Robo Armageddon and Xabungle, since those are the primary inspirations behind Gurren Lagann. I think you'd enjoy them, though Xabungle, being from the early 80s can take some getting used to for someone used to modern anime.
@RGMimic79 You did manage to produce a pair of designs that look just like the designs from that show.
And yeah it's a mediocre show but the mecha design is pretty great.
@Mizore_gaming @just_dp_lmao @Matthew29412271 The pscyho zaku's Reuse P Device is about on par with the Alaya-Vijnana System and it still ends up figting the traditionally controlled but similarly armed Full Armor Gundam to a draw.
@Jack_S_Wolfman @ArchonOf Gundam was definteily made not just make giant robots more "real", but to specifically make robots like Getter Robo more "real". It's no coincidence it featured a trio of mechs, the Gundam, Guntank, and Guncannon, who all look suspiciously similar to Getter's forms.
