It's not a coincidence that Second Impact (1997) Marvel 1 (1998) and Alpha 3 (1998) came out all around the same time and looked AMAZING! The visuals really started sliding down hill after that era.

The air legs is an edit I did. The rest are from the NGPC SVC. I just colored them. I did do some completely new ones though. These ones:

Yeah. I designed & programmed it all. Original sprites and backgrounds come from the NeoGeo Pocket Color games, but I and others had to draw new frames of animation for some moves. I also colored all the sprites. They were originally 3 colors.

Progress on Nests Kyo sprites for I edited the whole sheet to look like this now. Here is a sample of the steps I took. May have to make a couple new ones if I add supers MotM didn't have, but its done for now!

Doing a little light sprite work since I'm not feeling well today. Yes, we'll have Nests Kyo for It is my favorite costume for Kyo. As for the moveset? Probably one of the flavors of 99-2002. To be determined!

Testing out using colored outlines for the characters in to give them a little more depth in their palette. I like it, and I'll probably keep it.

Here is an edit I did... Because he was made in black & white first he had more shading than most pocket sprites. A bit much to explain here but it makes coloring him like the rest of the fighters harder because his pants need extra attention still.
