Flat out copied these poses because they are PERFECT for a more retro-inspired Mario moveset.

So thinking about AlphaDream's designs made me want to trace a sprite of the BEST Bowser design in any video game. Made me realize a few things:

- Upper lip is puffier and isn't frowning
- Shell is rounder
- Teeth & bracelets less pointy
- Legs are just a circle, like a Pokémon

Hot take: AlphaDream's design for the Mario Bros. is PEAK design, I like it better than Nintendo's own. That goes DOUBLE for their earlier Bowser design.

@Markedly_Mira @MoxieBoosted Okay checks out but I personally like my Pokémon with blades ON arms so they can still pick up stuff.

I traced some modern 2D Yoshi art to try and make a 3D turnaround. The front face is from a shirt at Super Nintendo World, which I can't find a HQ image of that render.

Why does 4 a.m. brain do these things?
