Hoenn Pokédex Number 12: Zigzagoon
Very goofy, fuzzy, bandit feather duster. He's a tough one to draw.
Hoenn Pokédex Number 11: Mightyena
Really fun time drawing this one. Not much of a dog person but I always like the older gens had them Dark type and use Crunch.
Hoenn Pokédex Number 10: Poochyena
No other Pokémon game will have a better "choose your starter" moment than Gen 3. One of these little monsters is attacking the town professor. My first big Youtube cartoon was all about that perfect moment.
Hoenn Pokédex Number 9: Swampert
Swamp Thing / Creature from the Black Lagoon turned into a Pokémon: Brilliant! Water/Ground is arguably the best type combo you could ask for. Very appropriate too, sharing it with both box legendaries, Groudon and Kyogre.
Hoenn Pokédex Number 8: Marshtomp
Just look at this goofball. I drew him in a Donkey Kong pose because of the long arms.
- Yellow and Red
- Giant shoulders
- Complex chest armor
Fans: Oh it's MEGAMAN!
Myself, an intellectual: It's METROID!
Hoenn Pokédex Number 7: Mudkip
The ancient ones of legend once told me that they've heard that you like them.
I do like 'em. I'd argue Wooper is the better baby axolotl, but his evolutions are top notch.
One more Smash Bros. moveset in the thread.
Hoenn PokéDex Number 6: Blaziken
The first and best Fire/Fighting starter. Pokémon was quite ballsy for introducing literal cockfighting to the series. Ever since one beat up Ash's Charizard in the anime, I've DREAMED of him being in Smash Bros.
GIF of his Specials in thread:
Hoenn PokéDex Number 5: Combusken
Drawing this Pokémon actually made me appreciate it a lot more. I drew him doing the Fei Long Fire Kick, what my brother would call the chicken wing: Fitting.
