Having finished the brilliant Charlie Changes into a Chicken with my class last week, I read them the beginnings of 3 new books this week and let them vote for their next read aloud.

They voted unanimously for this one ⬇️

@LeonieMarieLock I just read The Wild Robot by Peter Brown and it was brilliant.

Currently reading Charlie Changes into a Chicken to my class and they are loving it.

And if you fancy some graphic novel goodness, can’t go wrong with Invincible!!

First day of term with my new P4 / Year 3 class went really well. Seem like a nice bunch, enthusiastic, good listeners…

@Primary_Joe Most of my recommendations are in Scott Evan’s top 100, but here are a few that aren’t on his list. The Underpants of Chaos is my current read; so far it’s great!

@oocXdpk @Marvelman76 Yeah all that nonsense with M-Plate and the Token around issues 35-36… Makes me shudder just thinking about it!

Faerber at least managed to steady the ship and wrote some entertaining issues prior to the Revolution. Dodson on art duties helped considerably!!

Teaching Year 3 next year so getting stuck into 7+ books! Started with Wigglesbottom Primary, Pizazz & Warrior Monkeys.

Also read Harley Hitch & The Boy Who Grew Dragons.

Thinking Charlie Changes into a Chicken might be my first read-aloud.
