Looks like a royal conflict is brewing between Elyssia (@ElsieLovelock) and Algys (@KieranFlitton) - seeing these characters come alive with their expressions and Motifs shining bright is making everything feel that much closer to fruition!

Another move from first concepts to final designs!

Algys Carlyle’s final design shows him in his relaxed look, without his trademark coat reserved for appearances. With his sleeves pinned, he doesn’t have to roll them up: he’s always ready to work!

Another royal glow-up treatment as we move on from concepts.

Maverick’s final design reasserts his stature as Prince Regent of Vergagia. His power over the kingdom—and in battle—is unrivalled. Fitting for the main antagonist.

We’re getting creative with @naniengine for when in a location with interactive characters.

BEFORE is all default; character sprites and word buttons. AFTER contains character sprites as positioned buttons of varying scale to create a scene. Gotta fine-tune it but still!

In her finalised design, Elyssia looks much more like the royalty she is—and the person to make sure you know it, which she *definitely* is.
