I cannot tell you enough about this.
As a dps, tank or even healer that can shoot: aim for the "smalls", as I call them.

Ever wondered
"Damn, why is their tank not dying?"
Or
"Why are my healers always dying"
and/or
"I am not getting enough heals"

The results were... not so great in my opinion. REGARDLESS, I learned some new tricks in SD! But I felt highly defeated. Spent almost the whole day trying to get this texture done and in the end... I hated it

Finished UV unwrapping this big boy + dividing for the materials and trim 🫠

It's now 48k verts, 93k tris HOW SWEET!

It has been taking a lot overall bc

1. Lately it has been rough, feeling very down
2. Learning what my laptop can do, so I can actually unwrap

Now that I am UV unwrapping I have realized that I have actually never worked with such a big asset and it's own details.

How would I approach this? Different materials per areas? (for example: tileable material for all the wood areas; different one for the stone; etc etc)

Feedback time!

Would this be an ok LP for a big building like this? I left the parts that I will vertex paint with high verts so it will look better, but since it's my first time doing building like this I would love some feedback!

So this is my quick visual research I did yesterday for the Artstation challenge!
