Even if the character is a Fat or body builder. And conter point to that fact is in the west we use the same ideas in shapes to build our characters.

However if we use Invincible as I said the fact you can see the shapes like the males have square to round chins.

And in Anime Style the real big difference is the Shapes they use.

Face shapes in a Japanese anime style they have sharp angles in the chin most of the time eyes can big very big for th effect of eyes to the soul idea.

In body shapes as well. They tend to be triangles.

Again this is a broad debate but it's also an Artist analysis.

So example my style has Anime. The eyes heavy anime inspired.
But the body shape looks came form western how to draw comics.
