Hey gang...many years ago, I pitched a series idea to #DCComics about the adventures of the original Blue Beetle and was told, "No one cares about stuff that happened in the '40s." That was less than a year before #KarenPBerger said yes to SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATRE.

Hey gang...in order to cash in on the smash success of the 60s #BATMAN tv show, the original 15-chapter serial from 1943 was recut into a feature-length film. I was lucky enough to see that (to my 8-year old mind) incredible bit of cinema in a theater at the time!
