New Midjourney trick: Just giving it titles of imaginary artworks. Here are "Gods Will Not Hold Us Here", "Dream of the Falling Moon", and two versions of "The Chimera of Sorrow".

Cave in the style of Ivan Albright and Tamara de Lempicka. Also troubling. I think it took "cave in" as, you know, CAVE IN.

Astronaut in the style of Bill Plympton and Masamune Shirow. HIGHLY TROUBLING.

The Pieta in the style of James Gurney and Tsutomu Nihei. Not sure I can really see Gurney in this one. But the idea of a whole series of Nihei cyberhorror religious art sounds fun...

Of course, after using the phrase "rainbow muppet monsters", I had to explore that a little more.

Those rainbow muppet monsters reminded me or some cool Stephen R. Bissette art from Beyond the Supernatural, an old RPG, so I felt the need to generate Bissette monsters. Some of these rule.

Anyway. Here's a monster in the style of Lisa Frank and Ian Miller. Kinda love this.

Actually, let's explore that! Here's what it gave me for a villain, a hero, a city, and a monster in Evan's style. I think it's clear that the algorithm was trained on some of his work, but a really small sample. It pulls that silhouette thing a lot for him.
