Still working on my map project when I have the time. I think I am formulating some ideas about what I'd like to do with it eventually but at the moment I am just enjoying the process of creating a little region and coming up with potential stories.

I don't have any time to work on my map this weekend but I thought I'd share some interesting details that are emerging :D I really like the mountain stream that emerges from the deep rocky ravine. Also playing around with some submerged details in the lake #pixelart #ドット絵

I am experimenting with using @OskSta 's Townscaper (go get it - brilliant!) to visualise little settlements for my map thingy. It's proving to be quite useful so far. Need to refine the colours/detail a bit but I am excited to see where it goes.

Me: I should get away from my computer more at the weekends...

(In other news I am enjoying the graphics tablet :D )

Trying to justify buying a graphics tablet by thinking it will speed up early sketching/detailing as seen below on the left and middle areas. Then maybe I'd switch to a mouse for finer detailing like on the right. Is fine detailing possible with a tablet? #pixelart #maps

Some interesting terrain pieces emerged after my initial sketches while working on this area. A deep cut waterfall and little quarry area. I also started working out of these trees looked nice. Not 100% sold on them yet but liking the extra detail generally. #pixelart #maps

Some progress made this evening while listening to chill folk music :) Started blocking out some more areas too.
