Spirited Away has always been my favourite Studio Ghibli movie.

I watched the movie again a few days ago, and the shot of the clear water and only the sound of the wind picking up before Haku flies across has always been my favourite scene.

I originally drew up this character, "Machina", around 5 years ago, in this exact scene and pose, but stopped halfway through because I felt at that time my skills were insufficient.
Finally I finished; it's exactly how I imagined it to be and I couldn't be happier.

I've been meaning to draw Evan and Mir with their updated designs and since it's been so long since I've drawn traditionally, I figured I'd combine the two.

This piece was done with pencil crayons and touched up in PS.
