4. High Guardian Spice
I like weird stuff, this is weird, it kinda embraces itself about it, I cannot respect this enough. Instantly likeable characters, awesome LGBT+ representation, and actually some solid action sequences.
7. The Ghost & Molly McGee
A show I can only really describe as “simultaneously cheery and dark” with its sense of humor being full of amusing optimism and even some black comedy, because to be fair, when your co-lead is a ghost, what do you expect?
Beastars: Season 2 of this soap opera-ish high school anime had a couple of good moments and a couple of odd paces in direction. Suddenly revealing the killer that started it all in such an anti-climatic way was weird, but it actually felt pretty fresh.
@fluffyman85 Apperantly, she got to have powers in a comic titled Renew Your Vows with her hero alter-ego being called Spinneret.
It's kinda weird that one of the main criticisms these three shows that premiered this year are usually:
"The main lead(s) aren't as interesting as the side-characters."
I...honestly disagree.
"These arabian knights!"
Actually, you mean these thieves and cobblers. XD #F1
"My name's Brad, but I guess you knew that. I'm so happy, I could SHIT."
@SuzieYeung Does that mean that Yuri's hair is actually purple? XD
Rias Gremory? Major simp, she revives a dude just cause and then falls in love with him.
Ya'll were simping...FOR A SIMP.
SIMPCEPTION.
So yeah, characters like Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo?
Simp. Total SIMP.
