Hylonomus lyelli, an early reptillian and one of the first to lay eggs on land! A clutch of its eggs were fossilized inside a Sigillaria stump, a type of club moss that grew to giant-tree proportions!
I'm beyond thankful to be honoured with the Lanzendorf Award for 2D Paleoart at #SVP2022! Thank you @SVP_vertpaleo @ROMtoronto @DavidEvans_ROM for always believing in me! My winning piece is my reconstruction mural of the Devonian Miguasha formation for the #DawnOfLife Gallery!
Following up with the figures I contributed. It's been many years since I've hoped these could see the light and I'm glad they can be shown now. Dedicated part of my final year of university to this specimen, so here's what came of that!
I'm extremely excited for tomorrow! I was invited to deliver the FIRST EVER #PALEOART TALK (virtually) for the 8th Annual Dino Shindig, held by the @CarterCoMuseum. This is going to be a rip-roarin paleontology outreach program! So fortunate to speak among these great presenters!
My newest contribution is with Joe Moysiuk and J.B. Caron @UofT_Palaeo, shedding some light on the anatomy of Agnostids from the Burgess Shale! Congrats guys! https://t.co/kMU4Q1cE9j
Happy first #LGBTSTEMDay! The workplace should be a safe and comfortable place to express who you are. Be considerate of your coworkers and be a supportive ally, because only 1/2 of the #LGBTQIA people in #STEAM are out. Whatever colours you fly, know that they're beautiful! 💜
There is no Dana, only Zuul! @ROMPalaeo #Ghostbusters #SigourneyWeaver
Here's the art that I contributed to the study. It was a pleasure to work on this strange little stem-brachiopod! https://t.co/KOQTbEUkiC
