Dear pterosaur people:
What is this ligament and where is it attaching to in the torso? I thought the ligament from the pteroid was supposed to connect to the deltopectoral crest, but here that's a totally different ligament, so guess not? #pterosaurs #anatomy #paleoart
Would it be fair to assume that there are no rigorous attempts to model pterosaur air sacs in 3D, at least that have been made public so far? I've been looking for a while but everything seems to be 2D diagrams, cross-sections and cutaways.
@paisleyredd @TetZoo @Brain_Stormz It's Desmatosuchus. A pseudosuchian archosaur that was better at the 50 retrosaur esthetic than dinosaurs ever were. (Art by Jeff Martz)
@j_stocky For a tiger, anything that moves is a potential food item.

@DelonTrusk @AxelSauro No, I think you've mixed something up. This animal is called Vegavis. Velociraptor is the little desert dromaeosaur.
@aspentangle She-Hulk has gone through all sorts of shapes based on the preferences of writers and artists, but when you get to pick, why would you specifically choose to go with the most bland and generic superheroine look possible, when there are far more distinctive alternatives available.
