@AnnaPaquin I've felt like an outsider my whole life, & fellow outsider Scorsese has a gift for giving life & representation to our kind. I feel understood & less alone when I see characters like Peggy (or Travis in Taxi Driver - that film helped get me through some rough, lonely times).

Most of the work I've done in the past decade has been contract work, where you don't get sick leave or insurance benefits. This guy has to buy his own van to make deliveries for the company. Loach is such a humanist & champion of the working class - so inspiring.

There are some extremely interesting, ambitious, dark, funny, dramatic, creative films in theaters right now! Pictured: The Irishman, Jojo Rabbit, Parasite, & The Lighthouse. I highly recommend them & would love to answer questions if you're on the fence about seeing any of them.
