Sgt Harold James 'Jimmy' Cornelius, 2 dec 1920 - 4 Jul 1944.
He lived most of his life in Richmond, Indiana, & before his enlistment, did 1 y of college in North Manchester.
He joined the 505th, 82nd Airborne, in august '42 & fought in Sicily, Italy & Normandy.

Here 2 men who fought in Sicily, Italy & Normandy.
Maj James McGinity, 1915, Detroit, he died on June 6 leading his men, near La Fiere.
Pvt Joseph Fitt, 1922, Salt Lake City, a Silver star recipient for his action at La Fiere, he died on June 13.

Sometimes, you just need to draw some random face, and keep it simple.

1944/06/13, 75y ago, Pvt Joseph Fitt, serving in the 82nd #Airborne died in Normandy, near the Montebourg station.
He was 22 yo, lived in Salt Lake City, & as a high school student, he was in the 'Math Club' and dreamed to be an air force pilot.
