I was wondering why Marco got a spin off when he was just the joykiller in the old anime. But now I get it, his backstory and stuff he does after the old anime is ludicrously amazing.

The old Over-Z concept art didn't get shown to us until much later after the interview. So it's funny in retrospect of *why* he mentioned that specific point, lol.

He followed up the beam weapon lore by incorporating into Over 2 Spec 2 and Over 3 Spec 2.

Prepping gallery stuff and thought about OVER-Z. Dug up an old Mizuno's Q&A where he says he didn't want it to look like Zero cosplay, so seems he came back and redid it himself.
