Whooshman-Bicarbonate Films, in conjunction with Toni Monetti who, despite being canonically fifteen, looks like 2001 Christina Aguilera got fired out of a cannon into the wardrobe room at Vivid Video, Presents:
TEN SUPERS WITH THIGH BOOTS!
5) JENNY QUANTUM - The embodiment of the 21st Century, Jenny Quantum was born on January 1, 2000, and was adopted by Apollo and Midnighter of The Authority; Jenny's advanced aging was of her own design, as she aged herself up to her teens to fight her dads' enemies.
6) CYBERION - A native of Multiversity-Era Earth-36 in the pages of DC Comics, Cyberion (real name unknown) is a member of Justice 9, his world's greatest heroes; though his world is based on Big Bang Comics, it's not immediately obvious which BB character he is meant to invoke.
9) BLASTER - A founding member of the Sentinels super-team, Michael Jeung was the last known survivor after his team mysteriously vanished; Blaster then became the mentor for a new generation of the team, and even helps former villains turn their lives around.
10) GUNARM - Taken in by vigilante Doc Justice, Chase Stein and the other Runaways were given new masked identities as part of his J-Team; he was given the costume and weapons of a fallen hero called BumpStock, but didn't care for and/or get the name, choosing a new alias.
5) SPEED FREAK - A client of the eponymous 'Doctor Blink: Superhero Shrink', the Speed Freak has interpersonal problems in his relationships due to super-speed as well; his are a little more embarrassing.
But E.D. is no laughing matter, and may be a harbinger of other illnesses.
9) SUPER-NUTRICIA - Having been a chunky child, Sofia (no last name given) has dedicated her super-powers to teaching other children about healthy eating, the values of getting moving and exercise; her magic ring gives her "heart powers."
1) GAMECOCK'S CHICKEN SUIT - Carlos Cabrera said to himself, "Supehumans are a superstitious and cowardly lot. So my disguise must be able to strike terror into their hearts... I SHALL BECOME A ROOSTER!"
*dramatic lightning strike*
3) EARTH-MAN'S SOCIOPATHY - Kirt Niedrich is a xenophobe, a murderer, a dummy & a demagogue, so naturally New 52 DC was obsessed with redeeming his character.
As a general rule, if you make overt N*zi iconography part of the story, you're not gonna make a noble antihero of him.
5) QUANTUM POWERS - The clone of Tyler Marlocke (the son of the world's greatest superheroes who lacks superhuman powers himself), Toby Marlocke was given sentience by the universal powers of Order and Chaos; he also gained the ability to literally warp reality.
