Oh reminder...The NWS and NHC are separate from NOAA (just oversees the 2). #NOAA has gone off the deep end but the NWS and NHC we in are 100% still good. Always heed the NHC and NWS.

Guys if you can tonight....It would be awesome as a meteorologist in this weather field that I love if you can show some love to your National Weather Service on twitter or other places. Even a simple thank you tweet. These guys do a great job even if #NOAA doesn't think so. 👍

The thing that has us meteorology community and those all in the Weather Service worried is NOAA (who owns them) can go against actual science and us forecasters.

Essentially this has disastrous consequences in people's trust in the NWS and NHC for the future. NOAA is BS. #MLP

Meaning it may actually be time to be shifting to us Meteorologists to kind of not get those NOAA type jobs and more so kind of move to our own weather to YT with support from the community.

I mean I think I have a good base of people here that like my weather stuff.....right?

If I worked at the NWS I would consider walking out or striking cause that seems to us meteorologist that #NOAA doesn't care about you and it saddens me as I been pushing to still get a NWS job but NOAA makes us as useless shits siding with Trump. No faith in NOAA anymore. #MLP

Man this is eerie what is being shown out of Morehead City and along the coast now in the eye and eyewall of #Dorian. Lot of damage being reported around Morehead and significant coastal flooding is happening along the coast.

Dorian is far from done. #MLP

Looks like we are on the verge of a landfall with #Dorian. All a matter now if it makes landfall there at Cape Lookout NC or up on the Hatteras area later. #MLP

#Dorian's eyewall is hammering Morehead City and Cape Lookout. Likely gonna be significant damage on Cape lookout and all the camp sites on that island chain from 8 ft of surge and hurricane winds

Damage is being reported in Morehead City and Coastal areas in the eye wall. #MLP

The shear amount of tornadoes already from #Dorian....9 confirmed not even including the over 25+ tornado warnings that have been issued is insane.

It's been since Harvey since we've seen a such a high risk for tornadoes from a hurricane. Again, this is a disaster for NC and SC.
