Of course, they're not the only one with Innate spells, as the Eidolons used by Summoners use this as well.

But what if you fail the roll, you may ask?
Well, that's what the roll-over rule comes in. you can take 1/3 of the failed roll as a bonus next round, but this doesn't stack.

Metamagic is present through feats, and each application of metamagic increases the spell's rank by 1 for the purpose of the casting roll.
Essentially, you have to balance between power and versatility when casting.

MP-wise, it costs 1 MP as a buy-in, and an additional MP increases the final roll by 3 per MP spent.

This also means that, since each summon has its own Yokai track, that Yokai is the ONLY Job that can be taken more than once.
However, you cannot have more than one yokai form active at one time, so there's a catch.
