Finally coming around with another character profile!
The last of the three main characters from my hack-and-slash concept Hoshigatana, this is Kanayama no Shuten, the Mountain-Crashing Master!
Definitely one of my more... outlandish character designs.
And today is the fabled birthday of @BlackMageBen! Here's some fanart of Benjamage to celebrate! (and to compensate for whatever the first fanart was)
Happy birthday! And yes, I did sneak a funny quote from one of his videos in the book pages.
Tomorrow (1st of February) is the birthday of one of my closest internet friends, @mr_z_brainz, so I cooked up this gift featuring a collection of his OCs.
Happy birthday, Brainz!
And then there's Jeremy Coarson, a mechanic living out in the Crescent Sands, some way away from Noah. After his first run-in with Lock, Strafe lands in the desert where the two meet and become allies. Coarson's happy to upgrade Strafe's firearms and transport him with mechs.
And next we have Ida. She's the leader of the Thieves' Guild that Strafe serves under, she took him in after he ran from home and acts as a mother figure to him. She and the other thieves are caught in a power struggle between the upper and lower classes of Noah.
Next is our main villain, Lock Theristan. The father of Strafe, he wields dark magic - the opposite of his son. He killed his wife ten years ago, and now he's out for Strafe. This isn't what he was always like, though, what corrupted him?
Guess I'd better introduce the characters.
First is the hero, Strafe Luxalea. He's a thief from the desert city Noah, with a peculiar light magic power that he fires from his dual-wielding guns, the Desert Eagles. But why does he have this power?
Time to share what I've been working on! These four are characters in Light Strafer, an interesting project of mine. Basically, on this game conception website called Fantendo, there was the Strafe series made many years ago, and this is basically my reimagining of the series.
It's been a long while since I last posted art here, so I'd best share my most recent creation.
This piece isn't quite finished, still got to add stuff like shading. I'll probably talk about the character once he's done.
