Old picture I started working on the beginning of this year... Wanted to collaborate with a friend on it, but they never got back to me and hasn’t contacted me back since like February or March...

There was supposed to be at least one other character in the BG. (Just guess)

@jycompany_ TBH, I don't really care about this artistic decision, But ever since errors were pointed out on a lot of the redrawn sprites, it's hard not to see them.

Dumb little thing I made, The faces in the originak 1999 series really fit this design too well. I knew I was onto something when I thought the style of a lot of the expressions seemed similar.

I just am not a fan of every character in RPGs looking something like this. It’s the same type of aesthetic RPGMaker uses as it’s stock characters assets.

Maybe Final Fantasy had something to do with influence, but w/e. (Then when that series went semi-realistic others did too)
