Dumb little thing I made, The faces in the originak 1999 series really fit this design too well. I knew I was onto something when I thought the style of a lot of the expressions seemed similar.

I just am not a fan of every character in RPGs looking something like this. It’s the same type of aesthetic RPGMaker uses as it’s stock characters assets.

Maybe Final Fantasy had something to do with influence, but w/e. (Then when that series went semi-realistic others did too)
