I'd like to shine a spotlight on Xenoblade 1's environments as well, given that it stands as my 2nd favorite setting behind Alrest itself.
Just as with XC2, the majesty and creativity of Bionis/Mechonis is without end. It's very rare to find this level of uniqueness in a world.
Regardless of what Xenoblade 3 will be, if it were to resemble any aspect of a prior XC experience, I'd like it to emulate Torna's tone.
TGC built its atmosphere to be a perfect blend of charm and grim melancholy. That would be especially effective if XC3 were set on Old Earth.
One of the most appealing things about Torna, beyond story/characters, has to be its place in what is essentially Alrest's Age of Antiquity.
I feel that it enriches the world, makes it feel more alive and intriguing. It's a window into the distant past that isn't often provided.
Happy 20th Birthday, Monolith Soft! Thank you for creating the greatest franchise I've ever experienced.
Xenogears/The Xenosaga Trilogy/ The Xenoblade games. All wonderfully creative, diverse, and unique - so here's to a prosperous line of even more fantastic Xeno games to come.
Any time I think of Torna's Auresco, I realize just how magnificent its visual design, music, and general atmosphere is.
It's definitely one of my favorite fictional cities out there. Xenoblade 2 has a knack for having really good city design, and Auresco is the epitome of that.
Happy 7th anniversary to Xenoblade Chronicles' North American release! Participating in Operation Rainfall was one of the best decisions I made back then.
This game is incredibly special to me, and will always hold a place in my heart.
