Ditch the idea I had about the rendering method. If I just practice actually rendering enough eventually it will get faster. So here is a tiny bit of cloth proactive I'm currently doing. A good way to go about it might be to practice the material used in the concept currently.
I think one of the next steps should also be taking inspiration from other artists I like and trying to imitate what they do efficiently.
This is a drawing I did before the Soldier and I cant figure out why I like this ones shading more
@maxwell_lovell It took about 10 min. I started with base values of each color in grayscale and made a silhouette. then made an overlay layer on top of that to shade it. and then added a color layer to color the values. I'm sure I can do it faster if I did it more.
mana fountains start pushing the aesthetic further which im happy with. hopefully the buildings will get more interesting from here
Starting work on the Bunker cities that were constructed during the war.
The Corpse Snatchers hide amongst the fog of war waiting for the opportunity to rise amongst the distracted soldier and snatch their fallen. In hopes to maybe even get their hands on a mage for that sweet sweet tar.
Trying to render differently this time, I'm trying to find a fast method that I can easy improve on so I'm going gray scale first then I will add the color later.
