Another thing we did on stream. I wanted to illustrate an encounter with a combustion mage from the perspective of Ram soldier. still has a lot to fix like the values, the expression of the guy and also generally making the trenches look more decerped. but its coming along well.

Forcefully over healing someone can also have some unwanted side effects.

First spell that we illustrated is Terraform, well Terraform if you accidentally stand it the way of it. in a word with magic some spell can unexpectedly be used offensively. though normally Terraform is used by Verus mages to build bunkers and form trenches.

The Manamorphosis of a Combustion War mage is painful, but it is inevitable. As a mage casts spells frequently, their body starts to change to reflect their magic. In the case of a combustion mage common symptoms a billowing smoke out of orifices and burnt flaking skin.

We finished brainstorming the design of the Verus mage/warcasters. Im really happy with it and next ill draw what happens to them when they use too much magic.

Started to render the drawing removing the lines and cleaning it up. we added a ton of rust and bullet holes and dirt, and I think I'll add more in the end, but it really helped the design look more grounded.

The linework is all done and I'm working on the color, I'm quite proud of myself for the design. Ill also try to break down the interior of the thing so you can get a sense of what's going on there. Name wise I haven't yet decided you guys sent in such good ones.

The Verus soldier is finished! for now, obviously There are always things to improve about the design and my soul is cursed to never rest. but other than that, I'm quite happy with it. next design is going to be a revisit on an old chunky thing.

The Verus soldier is coming along great. This is without any of the equipment Cuz I wanted to have the outfit stand on its own first. Its not perfect yet of course and if you do have any suggestions throw them my way! but I am quite happy with where its heading.

Redesigned the Ram soldier and I'm very happy with the direction its going (the sketch is the redesign)
