And that’s not mentioning how despite it being 20+ years, the changes to the existing cast have mostly been aesthetics with minor moveset additions, Ganondorf for example still shares a lot of his framework with Captain Falcon and doesn’t have many actual moves he does.

Like, you could pretty easily make compelling and fun movesets out of examples like these I think and also rep more of this massive series than just the basics.

@DEFT_LORD_EMY Lil reminder that Wario canonically gets drunk in the Japanese version of Wario Land 2, with the form literally being called Drunk Wario, and the only way to change back is going into water.
