Another book from the unread book pile which I bought for the gorgeous Charles Vess illustrations.
Not a great format, the illustrations could of done with being printed slightly larger and on a slightly glossy paper. A nice matt paper stock is used, but it still mutes the art

The thing about all those covers for me is which one, colour wise, is closest to the original painting. Bearing in mind my camera is probably altering the colours too.

In 1987 just before I stopped regularly reading Spider-Man comics, Marvel decided that Peter Parker & Mary Jane Watson should get married. To celebrate there was a special issue of Marvel Age with a John Romita,sr front cover & a Bill Sienkiewicz back cover. Plus paper dolls!

Four pages of Kodiak penciled by Steve Dillon and inked by Rick Bryant to give it that 1990s feel, but still recognisably Dillon
