I mean people have dogs and are use to them craping everywhere and even pick it up and carry it around in bags, so surely this won’t be distasteful? I mean gents like Frank Quitely (who uses his real name on 2 of his strips) & Cam Kennedy are involved so it can’t be bad?
The 8 page promo for Neil Gaiman & Charles Vess’s Stardust (DC/Vertigo).It started as a series of 4 ‘prestige’ format 48 page booklets. Then collected together. After which book publishers published it without the pictures! Crazy. In my mind Vess is the modern Arthur Rackham.

Until I saw Billy’s tweet and that FA cover, I hadn’t realised this Simon Bisley painting was a response to that.
I remember at the time being annoyed about these Speakeasy covers as the artwork often looked to be cropped, how much art was I not seeing here

There’s some lovely colour pages too, but the print quality isn’t as good as it could of been.

@seddonism Not sure. I bought it when it was released. The only portfolio I’ve ever bought and portfolios seemed like a popular thing back then.
(I did buy that old UKCAC one off eBay a few years back too)
Just having a quick snout at what comics are being released in the next few weeks and I spotted this Doctor Andromeda book. I thought it looked it familiar and realised it was released 3 years ago under a different name. No where does it say this a new edition of an old comic
