@JeffMariotte @GavinWoltjer Could not agree more. They’ve been my favorite for years and years now.
If you’re looking for more like this, Sean’s son @jacobr_phillips is doing the art in two of the best series on the market today — That Texas Blood with @ChristophCondon and Newburn with @zdarsky.
I think #Echolands is the most visually stunning series I’ve ever read. I find myself lingering on the pages, trying to take it all in. Truly a sight to behold, making an already-excellent story that much better.

@PWatchPress @TheComicSource @Metropolis40 @AJSComics That Texas Blood is my fave, followed closely by Vinyl. The former because noir/crime is my favorite genre to read, and Condon/Phillips are crushing it; the latter because it’s one of the most bonkers horror stories I’ve ever read (until I recently read Plastic, that is).
Whoa. Completely blown away by #Echolands, which showcases such depth of story, setting, and characterization via top-notch writing and flat-out *phenomenal* panoramic artwork. Such a joy to read. Highly recommended.

@GavinWoltjer @ds228 Will check that out. Thanks for the heads-up.
As an aside, these two are also both fantastic. Worth tracking down if you haven’t already.
The first arc of #UndiscoveredCountry explores a world in which the U.S. has isolated itself for 30 years. Fantastic character- and world-building made for a wild opening act. Onward to the second arc! @Ssnyder1835 @CharlesSoule #GiuseppeCamuncoli @leonovels @COLORnMATT @ccrank
Took some time to catch up on That Texas Blood tonight. Easily my favorite comic of the year. @ChristophCondon is writing a superb bit of small-town noir, and @jacobr_phillips’ art is knocking it out of the park. Highly recommended series. They don’t get better than this, folks.
