Just finished Vol. 1 of and was completely swept away by this story of a soldier escorting her queen to a mysterious island so that a curse might be lifted from her. ’s epic fantasy left me in wide-eyed wonder, riveting me to the pages. (1 of 3)

Another fantastic from and . This issue opens with more history about the sisters as well as the nature of Heaven and Hell. I was thrilled to see a cliffhanger and that the series will be ongoing! (1 of 2)

So glad I picked up debut issue. has laid the groundwork for an intriguing story, and the art from and is *beautifully* done. Feels like this tale is in very capable hands, and I look forward to following it.

is yet another home run for . Loved the locale and unique cast of characters in this mystery by . Also, the art from and colors from couldn’t have been more perfect for this gritty, grimy tale.

More action-packed hijinks! Stranger bad guys! Even crazier advertisements! ’s My Murderous Childhood gives us all of these, along with some early history about the title character and his pal Franky. Doesn’t get more fun than this.

Another fun issue of this month, as the kids try to figure out which member of the group has been possessed by an alien. Oh, and Manny finally speaks!

I really dig this comic. Nice change of pace from horror and crime.

I’m guilty of not crediting letterers, but (aka truly makes his mark on the comic, helping to elevate the book even higher. Masterful work across the board.

Another fun issue of this month. I enjoyed the sisters’ backstory and how they came to fight demons. Also *love* the art by . She creates some genuinely creepy scenes every time something supernatural hits the page.

Issue 5 of closes out the first arc, and successfully realizes what hoped for: planting seeds (pun intended) for arcs to come. There are a lot of mysterious threads dangling out there, and I look forward to reading more about them in March.
