No thanks. I'd rather keep supporting these shows, thank you very much. https://t.co/ZzQFxHNU90
On this day in 1999, Futurama premiered on Fox. (Moved to Adult Swim in 2003, Comedy Central in 2008, and Hulu for the show's revival this year)
This is 1 of my favorite adult cartoons. As it didn't have as much dumbed down humor, or seasonal rot.
Ratio, cuz you snubbed these in favor of mid live action sitcoms. https://t.co/paCgoUCdd4
Disney Channel may not be around in the US for much longer, but they're the only network that's doing something right with their cartoons.
Where most of these shows are original & not based on an existing IP. With great characters & lore to keep all audiences interested.
When it comes to their animated movies, Universal has really been cooking, lately!
For The Bad Guys & Puss in Boots, they used stylized animation with incredible new stories.
For Minions & the upcoming Mario movie, they've done something special with the marketing.
On this day in 2022, The Cuphead Show premiered on Netflix.
For the 3 seasons that are out so far, I've been enjoying it. It's faithful to the game. Which itself has references to cartoons from the 40s & 50s.
It's a great show & I hope it's not cancelled. #RENEWTHECUPHEADSHOW
On this day in 1999, Family Guy premiered on Fox.
The seasons with Seth MacFarlane involved are good and all, but it's gone way downhill since he left.
It paved a similar path for other adult animated shows. Where they rely on inappropriate jokes, cuss words, cutaways,...
2 breakout Netflix cartoons from last year that got already renewed for a 2nd season & were lucky enough to not get cancelled.
