As for Mario, I think that side of Mario would be a wonderful change of pace. We’ve seen a much more expressive Mario in Mario VS Donkey Kong games and maybe the spin-offs, but it would be cool to have that meta-self referential humor from Mario and the gang; giving us the Users-

I know some people regard Batman: The animated series as one of best animations of all time and while I do agree. I still think Gargoyles was peak storytelling from an new IP at the time. I’d say in terms of quality they both encapsulate the makings of a great show.
