@mainichi_kimono Yeah I'm a little surprised, in some anime like Bleach, when you got samurai characters fighting, sometimes they take off their upper gi/kosode or haori and have it hanging around the waist; which is what I believe the artist is going for here. I have some similar examples:

@mainichi_kimono Hi, do you happen to have an idea what's going on in this artwork?

Is this a Haori tied around the waist, or do you think its a kosode tied by an obi? I'm using it as a ref for commissioning art so I'm hoping to clear up what's going on here. :)
