@ROZOROSSO He collaborated with a ton of people on TSA (which also has a beautiful mishmash of styles going on) and he carried on that tradition into NMH3- one of the characters is designed by the Oyasumi Punpun mangaka, he got the artist for Transmetropolitan to do the cover, etc
@YBourykina Basically either:
No normal maps no PBR no baking just handpainting and chill. Like, send me back to the Dreamcast/PS2 era please
Or:
Something just wildly experimental that other games/studios haven't really done (ie. realistic cel-shading or photo-based projection for faces)
@EmmettComix I'm honestly a fan of him in Nocturne
idk Suda, this man look straight to you?
@Gozutrucker69 I want it sprinkled liberally on protagonists, antagonists and everyone in between.
Forgot Boogiepop Phantom too is there anything Abe DIDN'T touch in this list? lmao (I know nothing about BP just that the soundtrack owns. Always wanted to watch it though)
Does anyone have any good examples of this just-moving-to-digital, y2k, plasticy laminated-looking anime look? Like airbrushed/cool toned shadows, some slight colors outside the lines from an early fill tool, smooth faces etc I have trouble describing the look but it's there
@tyunderwood Mother 3 already provides that
