So in honor of the 25th anniversary of EVA I thought I would post my favorite scene from the series.

Attack on Titan S3 is one of the greatest seasons of anime ever. So many intense and powerful moments are given to every single character in this season while simultaneously revealing the full scope of how AOT’s world came to be and what exists beyond the walls. 10/10 Masterpiece

Shouyou himself learned. Even if humanity stumbles it should still be given the opportunity to redeem itself. While he always desired death perhaps even more importantly he wanted to be reassured that humanity was capable of more than just hate.

What makes Utsuro a fantastic antagonist is that he’s the culmination of the deterministic world view that is so central in Gintama. Utsuro never asked for the power of immortality but because of fear and jealousy he was persecuted by humanity for centuries.

I have now completed all of Gintama and it’s easily one of the greatest emotional journeys I have had the pleasure to experience. It has the greatest cast in anime history and makes you laugh and cry in almost equal measure. Just an absolute masterpiece and my favorite anime ever

Episode 365 is probably one of my favorite episodes in the series. It really hammers home the idea of both Takasugi and Gintoki wanting to do anything in their power to save Soyo from this cursed cycle of death and rebirth.

Gintama characters smiling is such a wholesome sight.
