It doesn't seem like I'll actually be able to finish any drawing this month at my present (lack of) pace. Not a good start for this year.

@RenieDraws Guns have existed for a very long time. These medieval handgonnes (ishibiya) could also double as overgrown steel clubs. You could also probably add: spikes, spear tips, and/or axe blades for variety. Pistol-axes, knives, maces, and swords also existed.
