Lil bit of progress before work

Having had our shots, we face the weird dilemma of feeling exhausted & wanting to hole up for a staycation, and also desperately needing to GTFO of our house.

Naturally we tried to fit both into 1 long weekend. View outside of our getaway bedroom window. Much needed deep breath.

Color comp… and beginning to paint a little digitally.

Painted at the local farmer’s market with mom and a friend of hers. Tricky subject matter, super hard to do with oil, but had a lot of fun trying to rescue a mess of a painting haha

Had a neat random encounter with a 10-y.o while painting in the park. Little Hispanic boy rolled up bouncing a basketball, began looking at my set up and painting super closely. Thinking, “personal space is a concept, kid” not expecting a rather enlightening conversation after.
