THREAD: What’s the most bizarre entry in your favorite cartoon series? I thought I’d highlight shorts with popular characters that stand out as particularly weird.
For Bugs Bunny, it’s 1946’s THE BIG SNOOZE, where Bugs hops into Elmer Fudd's head to give him a surreal nightmare.
Recently watched the 1993 movie FREAKED by @Winter. One of the funniest and wildest live-action films ever made. I had to draw a cartoon of the lead character. Watch the movie - it's massively underrated!

I'm seeing some debate on here about the best era of animation. There's so much great stuff from every decade, it's hard to pick, but my favorite cartoon decade is the 1940s. The executives mostly stayed out of the process at that point and cartoonists got to run wild.
