Plesiosaurs were long-necked marine reptiles that disappeared alongside the dinosaurs at the end of the Cretaceous period. This Jurassic Plesiosaur flipper is 150-155 million years old! The flipper would have helped our creature to practically 'fly' through the water.

We love dinosaurs, but not as much as Alice Bolingbroke Woodward who painted this charming watercolour. We think she would definitely have enjoyed #NationalDrawADinosaurDay – and would have been first in the queue to see #DippyOnTour when he arrives @NorwichCathedral this summer!
