@FabricatedToast No it's definitely a similar, if not the same motif! In fact, you can see them on most weapons in the trailer. Even the main Keves' metal-face / mechon has it.

Maybe interesting? The Agnus/Gormotti aesthetics we've seen use a red-knot motif that resemble the Japanese agemaki knot, a decorative tassel used on samurai armours. Nia in Xenoblade 2 did NOT use this motif; her red knots were the simple "bunny ear" style. #XenobladeChronicles3

I get it, I find Fenris' and the templar's lyrium abilities sexy too. More than I probably should. But you know what I like even more? Characterization. And man, Magekiller gave us such a compelling platonic duo in Marius and Tessa. You never see this shit in media
