Ashura in the art of Mahmoud Farshchian (Persian: محمود فرشچیان, Mahmud Faršciyân; born 24 January 1930), a master of Persian painting.
Benzaiten is a Japanese Buddhist goddess who originated from the Hindu goddess Saraswati. She arrived in Japan during the 6th through 8th centuries, mainly via the Chinese translations of the Sutra of Golden Light. Benzaiten is a syncretic with both Buddhist & Shinto aspects.
