But to be clear, I adore the original Japanese design too! Naoto Oshima’s design is so iconic and timeless and deserves all the praise it gets.

Fun fact: I’m one of the 7 people in the world who prefers the American design of Classic Sonic. Don’t get me wrong, I understand why people prefer the Japanese, but there’s something about western Sonic’s attitude that I absolutely adore. I mean, just look at this li’l guy!

Plus, it’s got an adorable doggo. What more could you ask for?
