Working on another Cory Loftis design. SUPER WIP, it's in the advanced blockout phase. Now to start refining elements and making each piece individually good.

I want to capture this feeling in 3D so badly!! 3D is so polished it can feel pretty sterile (there are exceptions).

2D is so good at this kind of very emotive minimalism. I mean it's obviously Ghibli as well, so they're masters, but I find this vibe is hard in 3D.

So now I need to make a new one from scratch. But this time I'll do it better than before!

@FromHappyRock In this case the main thing that made her hard was how her face is asymmetrical. If I were to mirror her jawline on the right to the left she'd lose the feminine feel and look kind of funky.
