In X-Men a story is happening where Nature Girl gets sick of folks polluting the planet and straight up starts killing polluters and poachers when a Sea turtle washes up on Krakoa and dies choking on a plastic bag. Cool, I'd love to see Black Mutants having something adjacent
Cyclops is that FUCKING NERD! Don't talk to me about great strategist unless Scott "The fit Crip but the beams Blood' Summers is on that list with his dry ass humor (which he is unaware of because he's being entirely serious) I fucking love this, man.
"Yall want great story? Nah, fuck that. I wanna see two BIG MEN--WITH BIG CHESTS--AND BIG MUSCLES--BUMPIN MEAT! That's why I'm here. That's why I read comics as a kid. You want your character growth? Development? Not me... BIG MEATY MEN SLAPPIN' MEAT! THAT'S WHAT I WANNA SEE!"
Nobody writes a team book like Al Ewing, man. This man kills it for each character every single time. Being able to manage and spot light so many different personalities is a skill. I love this man's work. All of which is to say, READ X-MEN: RED! (plus his older works too!)
I have never seen three more less anime protagonists then these dudes right here. They just there to consume air. These muhfuckas did NOTHING for the group project.
The best part of Storm is how her regal and proper mannerisms drops when it's time to throw down. SHE THREW HER CAPE OVER THUNDERBIRD'S HEAD AND PROCEEDED TO GET BUSY! The hands are just *chef's kiss*
The one Doctor Strange in the multiverse that wasn't in a car accident and just spent too much time on onlyfans
I really liked that John had a brother that somewhat took his place and had an issue about how he died in James Proudstar (warpath) but John getting to come back now via The Five after 50 years and see his brother again? I'm really excited for them!
