INCREDIBLE HULK #461: Bruce Banner is back, and General Ross is looking to bring him in, dead or alive. But when the Destroyer comes calling with an army of trolls at his side, it’s the Hulk who will have to intervene.
INCREDIBLE HULK #459: When Hulk arrives back in town, Abomination decides it’s time to settle old scores and take him down once and for all. It’s the Battle of the Big Green Bastards—all at Mercy’s behest, of course.
WOLVERINE NOIR is right up there w/ DAREDEVIL NOIR in terms of quality, better than the SPIDER-MAN & X-MEN outings, imo. Although the NOIR titles ostensibly take place in the same universe, Logan’s character is so different here than he was in X-MEN, that’s hard to believe. 🤷
INCREDIBLE HULK #456: Hulk has been hijacked by Apocalypse, who plans on performing his trademarked experiments on him to turn him into something bigger and badder—WAR!
INCREDIBLE HULK #455: Wolverine has returned to the X-Mansion with the Hulk in tow—which of course leads to damage and destruction. Hulk gotta Hulk!
INCREDIBLE HULK #454: Hulk is hiding from the Army in the Savage Land, where he has taken up with the Locut tribe. His position as an unstoppable weapon against rival tribes puts him in direct opposition with Ka-Zar and Wolverine.
Janis and her new friend, Another Hulk, are also milling around.
INCREDIBLE HULK #451: At the Army base where he was born, Hulk confronts his new nemesis Col. Cary St. Lawrence and her team, before deciding to take a vacation. Then it’s off to the Florida Keys, where he rechristens Duck Key as… HULK ISLAND!
PLUS: Dr. Strange investigates a disturbance in the force and tangles with the Hulk, before accidentally slipping into the “Heroes Reborn” universe and tangling with another one. There, he is reunited of sorts with his missing comrades.
