ITEM LN might be the first time we get Kamachi female characters that are well written with no drawbacks.

Shokuhou and Mikoto are good but can't do anything substantial in Index which muddies them.

Index was good early on but became useless.

ITEM females might break the curse.

Spider Gwen's design in the comic was okay since it still had that 80s haircut.

Background art and stuff is secondary. Even JJK artwork looks cool when the focus is the backgrounds and power up moments.
