I also tried to choose a color palette and motif that looked retro while still looking fresh. I've always been a fan of the Scooby franchise with my favorites being: A Pup Named Scooby Doo, The Reluctant Werewolf & Ghoul School. But really I love pretty much all of them.

Since the internet is going nuts over Velma (& not exactly in a good way) I was inspired to draw the classic Mystery Gang in my cutesy chibi style. It was a fun exercise to work with established characters & make them highly stylized while still making them recognizable.
