also mario has sort of become a business tycoon at this point, managing his own amusement park, he has a castle, his own private island, hosts parties, go-kart races. pretty much him coming into wealth and succeeding which is a good reason to bring in wario.

bc bare in mind mario and luigi’s last name is “mario” so his father could’ve gone by his surname

perhaps donkey kong is slightly older than mario and luigi and is near enough the same age as bowser. or dk arcade could take place during the bros’ childhood in new york.

also donkey kong and donkey kong jr MIGHT be the same person. we MIGHT see a flashback where donkey kong was a child and witnessed his father cranky go up against mario

but maybe its not our mario, maybe its marios father and the damsel was not pauline, but marios mother instead

we’re supposed to be getting a donkey kong movie spinoff as well which could be based on the donkey kong country games. maybe its a prequel to show how donkey kong became the champion of the jungle kingdom and how he had to fend off the kremlings, led by king k rool.

i think that king boo, e gadd and gooigi, as well as the polterpup, could appear in a luigi’s mansion spinoff. it’d explore how luigi has to face his fears in order to save his friends. plus, it would definitely give him a lot more spotlight after the first film.

they could do it so bowser is the villain of the first film, then its wart AND bowser in the second, then tatanga AND bowser or wario, waluigi AND bowser in the third.

and they’d all have their own armies for mario to go up against

but daisy, tatanga, wario, waluigi, king boo, e gadd and toadette should definitely appear in the second or third film. if they just want to focus on wart and the koopalings in the second, i’m okay with that.

and then while mario and friends are trapped in the dream world, bowser invades areas of the mushroom kingdom and other kingdoms with his koopalings, maybe bowser jr as well?

and that would include dinosaur land so we can get a tie in to super mario world, introduce yoshi…

since luigi’s gonna be the damsel in distress in the first film and mario, peach and toad are a trio i think that for the sequel, illumination should take inspiration from both super mario bros 2 AND 3

introduce wart, mouser, birdo, tryclyde, clawgrip, fryguy, the land of subcon
