Here is the cover of my Nutcracker book from about a decade ago.
The project began as a giant walk-through exhibit at W5 in Belfast, which we later worked it up into a picture book with text by Simon Stewart and published by W5.

This was the first picture I did for ‘When Jessie Came Across the Sea’ by Amy Hest.
I had initially planned for a horizon in the distant background, but the picture really started to work when I replaced that with rolling waves as far as the eye can see.

The PJ Library is actually an organisation that sends free Jewish children's books to families across the world every month.
I’m thrilled that “When Jessie Came Across The Sea,” by Amy Hest and me, is one of their books.

Illustrators Ireland’s ‘Bookworm’ group show continues at the United Arts Club in Dublin till the 5th of Feb.

Here’s a pretty surreal illustration from one of my very first books, Raggy Taggy Toys by Joyce Dunbar.

More pics likely to appear in my exhibition, ‘Pilgrims, Princesses and Beardy Old Men’, in Derry’s Waterside Theatre in early October. The show is part of the new ‘Spread the Word’ festival.
